1. Who We Are

Tangyslice Collective LLC ("we," "us," or "our") is a fractional CMO and AI-native marketing consultancy based in Massachusetts. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit tangyslice.com (the "Site") or contact us through it.

Data Controller. If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom (UK), Tangyslice Collective LLC is the data controller of your personal information under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable UK data protection law. As a small consultancy without a dedicated Data Protection Officer, you can reach us directly using the contact information in Section 11.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly. When you submit our contact form, we collect your first name, last name, company name, work email address, and the message you write to us. We do not collect payment information through the Site.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we use Google Analytics (GA4) to collect anonymous data about how visitors use the Site. This includes pages visited, time on site, general geographic location (country/region), device type, browser, and referral source. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.

Google Analytics uses cookies and similar tracking technologies. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by adjusting your browser's cookie settings.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect only to:

  • Respond to your contact form submission
  • Determine whether an engagement is a potential fit
  • Follow up on conversations you've initiated with us
  • Understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it (analytics only)

We do not add contact form submissions to marketing lists. We do not send unsolicited email to anyone who has not specifically asked us to. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.

Legal basis for processing (EEA and UK visitors). If you are located in the EEA or UK, we rely on the following legal bases under GDPR Article 6:

  • Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) — responding to your contact form inquiry and assessing whether an engagement is a good fit. Our interest in responding to genuine business inquiries is not overridden by your rights or fundamental freedoms.
  • Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) — operating Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage and improve the Site. You may opt out at any time (see Section 6).
  • Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) — where we are required to retain or disclose information to comply with applicable law.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. We use the following service providers in the course of operating the Site:

  • Google Analytics — website traffic analytics. Data is processed subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Google's Data Processing Amendment, which includes Standard Contractual Clauses for international transfers.
  • n8n — contact form submissions are routed through an n8n workflow automation instance we operate. Your submission data is used only to deliver your message to us and is not retained by n8n beyond that purpose.
  • Reclaim.ai / Calendly — if you book a call through our scheduling links, your booking information is handled subject to the scheduling provider's own privacy policy.

We may also disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to a valid legal process.

5. International Data Transfers

If you are located in the EEA or UK, please be aware that some of the service providers we use are based in the United States, meaning your personal data may be transferred to and processed in a country outside the EEA or UK. Where such transfers occur, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place:

  • Google Analytics — transfers to the United States are covered by Google's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and Data Processing Amendment, which are approved transfer mechanisms under GDPR.
  • n8n — data processed through our n8n automation instance is handled under appropriate contractual safeguards.
  • Scheduling tools — Reclaim.ai and Calendly maintain their own data transfer mechanisms; please review their respective privacy policies for details.

By submitting a contact form or otherwise providing us with personal data, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred and processed as described above.

6. Cookies

The Site uses cookies primarily through Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns. These cookies do not store personally identifiable information. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies will not prevent you from using any part of the Site, though it will limit our ability to measure Site performance.

EEA and UK visitors. Under the ePrivacy Directive (the "Cookie Law") and GDPR, analytics cookies are considered non-essential and generally require your prior consent before being set. We are in the process of implementing a cookie consent mechanism for EU/UK visitors. In the meantime, you can opt out of Google Analytics at any time using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

7. Data Retention

We retain contact form submissions for as long as the conversation remains active or potentially relevant to a business relationship. We do not keep records indefinitely. If you would like us to delete your information, contact us at the address in Section 11 and we will do so within a reasonable time (and within 30 days for requests from EEA or UK residents).

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information. California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of its sale — we do not sell personal information.

EEA and UK residents have the following rights under the GDPR (and UK GDPR):

  • Right of access (Art. 15) — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you and information about how we process it.
  • Right to rectification (Art. 16) — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
  • Right to erasure (Art. 17) — request deletion of your personal data where there is no longer a legitimate reason for us to retain it ("right to be forgotten").
  • Right to restriction (Art. 18) — request that we limit how we use your data in certain circumstances, such as while a dispute about accuracy is resolved.
  • Right to data portability (Art. 20) — receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format and transmit it to another controller, where technically feasible.
  • Right to object (Art. 21) — object at any time to processing of your personal data that is based on our legitimate interests, including any profiling based on those interests.
  • Right to withdraw consent — where we rely on consent as the legal basis, withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
  • Right to lodge a complaint (Art. 77) — if you believe we have handled your personal data unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority. In the EU, contact the supervisory authority in your country of residence. In the UK, contact the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 11. We will respond within 30 days. We will not charge a fee for reasonable requests.

9. Children's Privacy

This Site is intended for business professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
